Research Interests
Dr Adrian von Mühlenen is a Cognitive Psychologist focusing on areas like perception, attention, memory, and emotion. His more recent research lies in Cyberpsychology. This new interdisciplinary field focuses on the psychological phenomena that emerge from human interaction with digital technology. He is investigating issues around gaming, social media, virtual reality, online learning and human-computer trust Interaction.
Biography
Dr Adrian von Mühlenen is a Reader in Psychology at the University of Warwick. He gained his PhD in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Bern (Switzerland). Before joining Warwick, he worked at the University of Leipzig, the LMU University in Munich, and the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
