Qualifications

A fervent Health Psychologist chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), I am passionate about facilitating behaviour change and empowering individuals to make positive and informed life choices, that enhance their quality of life. My academic qualifications include a Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology, a MSc Health Psychology degree, and a BSc (Hons) Applied Psychology degree, as well as Diploma in Professional Development: Counselling Skills and Perspectives.

 

Current jobs

I am the founder of the UK based Health Psychology Consultancy firm Health Three Sixty which aims to bring Health Psychology to the masses. With a clear understanding of the complexities of behaviour change, Health Three Sixty works uniquely and innovatively with a range of clients providing a variety of services including training, intervention design and delivery, and service review and improvement.

 

I also work on a part time basis for London Play a small, award-winning and influential charity, providing training and mentoring opportunities to some of the capital's adventure playgrounds staff and trustees. My work supports them to further integrate monitoring and evaluation into their daily work to capture the social outcomes associated with adventure play and create strategies for change.

 

Clinical interests

My clinical interests are in the area of health, wellbeing and quality of life, and include adolescent and adult health related behaviour change, the development of coping techniques to live with chronic health conditions, as well as the application of mindfulness for reducing stress and improving wellbeing.

 

Fun fact

I love to travel and experience new cultures, and have lived in Massachusetts which is in the USA, Barbados which is in the Caribbean and was born and raised in London, UK.
