The Diamond Science and Technology Centre

The Diamond Science and Technology (DST) Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) is one of the newest CDTs funded by ESPRC and has diamond based research at the core of all activities. The Centre's research projects will span a range of different themes including electronics, measurement and sensing, photonics, quantum, nuclear, water, manufacturing and new physical sciences for healthcare.

Attached to the Department of Physics, the Centre for Fusion Space and Astrophysics (CFSA) focuses on research around plasma physics and how that is applied to magnetic and inertial fusion power, space physics, solar physics, and astrophysics.
Warwick Infectious Disease Epidemiology Research

Warwick Infectious Disease Epidemiology Research (WIDER) is a cross-department and interdisciplinary group that focus on understanding and predicting the spread and control of infectious diseases.The group's research spans from high profile pathogens including pandemic influenza, malaria, bovine tuberculosis and foot-and-mouth disease, to less well-publicised diseases such as respiratory syncytical virus, foot-rot and European foulbrood.
