Warwick R User Group — introductory meeting
Location: Statistics Common Room (C0.06), Zeeman Building
This is the first meeting of the Warwick R User Group. In this session we will get to know each other by introducing ourselves and our backgrounds (if any) in data science and R programming. We will then decide on a regular meeting time and gauge interest in topics and speakers for future events.
Our first meeting will feature a series of 'lightning talks', each no longer than 5 minutes, highlighting a tip or R package that the speaker finds useful or interesting.
- Cleverly copying commands from the console
Lewis Rendell (Statistics, Warwick) - Procrastinating in R: the emojifont package
Ale Avalos (OxWaSP) - An introduction to Shiny
Nathan Cunningham (OxWaSP)
Baked goods will be provided!
To volunteer to give a talk, please email David Selby.
