Brexit - What next?

We welcomed International law firm Pinsent Masons who provided a special session that covered the process of withdrawing from the EU and a review of the potential alternative trading arrangements between the EU and the post-Brexit UK.

Guest speaker Guy Lougher, Head of EU and competition talked through the treaty mechanism, possible future UK-EU models, issues to consider now and future supply chain impacts.

Guy Lougher heads the EU and Competition Law Group at Pinsent Masons. He has worked on competition and market investigations by the European Commission and the UK’s competition authorities, including attending dawn raids. Guy also advises on merger clearances before the European Commission and before the UK’s competition authorities, and on appeals against decisions of EU and UK competition authorities.
