Applied Linguistics wins bid to host Hornby Scholars

We are delighted to announce that Warwick has been successful in its bid to host further groups of Master's students who are sponsored by the A S Hornby Educational Trust.

Managed through The British Council, the programme supports one-year full-time study in the UK, taking a Master's course in English Language Teaching, with a choice of specialisms. The scholarship funds the costs of study in the UK, including return flights to the UK and visa.

Applications for Hornby Scholarships for 2018-2019 will open in December 2017.

Course Manager, Dr Annamaria Pinter said, "We are delighted to be welcoming further groups of highly experienced scholars, once again. Everyone is enriched by their contributions and we look forward to collaborating with The British Council.”
