We are delighted that you will be joining us here in Education Studies shortly and are very much looking forward to welcoming you to campus.

We have added lots of information to these webpages that we hope will prepare you for the start of your PhD or EdD and also be a useful guide during your first few weeks. If you have any questions, please ask us (you will see email addresses in the Your First Few Weeks section of these webpages) – we are all here to help.

Enrolment process

There are a few important things that you must do to complete the enrolment process – including registering for your Warwick account, uploading a photo, and enrolling on your course.

You can find all the information on the University’s Enrolment webpages here.

Warwick Welcome website

If you have not already done so, take a look at the University’s Welcome webpages. You will find lots of useful information to help you prepare for the start of your programme.

Social media

Follow us on Instagram to find out about everything that is happening in Education Studies! You will hear all about the events and activities taking place – academic skills sessions, careers events, social get togethers, and opportunities for you to get involved and meet people in the Department. X (formerly known as Twitter) is a great place to hear about the latest research being published by Education Studies staff.

Handbooks

Your PGR handbook will be added to this webpage shortly before you arrive. We expect this to be in the week before Welcome Week (week beginning 18 September). Please take some time to read through it and refer to it throughout the year. It is a valuable resource!
