NSS results

Other important results in the survey include a 24 percentage point increase for students receiving sufficient advice and support with their studies, and a jump of 17 percentage points for the department’s organisation and management.

These significant upturns are down to a substantial amount of hard work by the department, particularly the undergraduate and student & academic support teams.

Dr Juliet Raynsford, course leader for the undergraduate courses in the department, said: I feel really proud of our department’s commitment to continually improving our NSS results. Over the past year, through consulting with our students and working closely with them to improve our course, we have taken significant strides forward in terms of ensuring our degree is able to fully support our students' diverse learning needs within a course culture that is inclusive, open and ambitious".
