Welcome our materials to support your work on the MA Ed studies course. Our aims in writing these pages are to:

• provide guidance on designing a dissertation proposal
• provide guidance on carrying out your dissertation research
• provide a general background to some of the issues and ideas you will have encountered during the course

There are many very good guides to carrying out research both in print and available over the WWW. Our aim is to give you a better idea of our thinking and our expectations and to point you in new directions. We are not seeking to replicate materials which can be found elsewhere and wherever possible we will direct you to relevant web sites and resources.

This web site is in the early stages of development, there is much more to do. We would be grateful for your ideas and input.
