Core modules for MA Drama and ELT students

• Foundations of TESOL Methodology for pre-experience students or Innovations in TESOL Methodology for post-experience students (15 CATS)

These modules address methodology, issues and research in TESOL depending on the amount of TESOL students have already undertaken. Emphasis will be placed on the value of reflection on students' own learning (and possibly, teaching) experience, as well as on the need to adapt recent developments and research findings for contextually appropriate lesson planning and course design.

Optional modules

Students on any of our MA programmes may be interested in taking modules in Applied Linguistics, subject to approval by their course leader.
