The overall aim of this project was to share and develop good practice within the University of Warwick - school partnership on the use of the plenary at Key stage 3 and communicate our work to a wider audience. The project included a half day workshop for trainees and mentors to discuss existing practice and look at exemplar material concerning the plenary. Trainees and mentors set themselves targets for further development. A follow up workshop was organised in which trainees and mentors shared their accounts of plenaries which ‘worked for them’. The project was written up as a case study for trainees and for the Key Stage 3 strategy. Materials from the project were uploaded to the course web site.
