The DropIn Centre consists of a bank of 22 informally arranged computers. The area is not timetabled and is freely available for student use.

Students are able to use the DropIn Centre to check their emails, for working with word processors, spreadsheets and databases, for keeping records, writing assignments, preparing teaching materials and general personal ICT uses and developing personal ICT skills.

The DropIn is also equiped with SMART and Promethean interactive whiteboards for student use and a document scanner and black and white and colour laser printing.
