Within your application click on File and select Save. You have 200Mb of space on the N Drive in a folder called My Documents. The save process usually defaults to this folder but you can select it by finding the N Drive on the pull-down menu using this arrow

Enter a name for your file in the File Name box and select Save.

 

Backing up your work

When you save your work in the My Documents area on the N Drive it is secure and personal to you because it is protected by your Username and Password. DO NOT save work to your desktop as your files will NOT BE SECURE.

Although the RM Network is robust and backed up to tape every night, we strongly recommend that you keep a BACKUP of ALL your work using a CD, DVD or a USB memory stick.
