This exercise aims to assist students to practise the reading strategy SQ3R integratedly.

Survey The title of the text tells you this article is about teacher collaboration, what else does the title suggest? What do you already know about this topic?

Quesion Before reading the article try to think form your own experience of three advantages of teacher collaboration and three disadvantages. As you scan the text compare your suggestions with those in the text.

Recall: What are the strengths and weaknesses of the two main research tools and what is the advantage of using both? What conclusions would you draw from table 1 and would they be different at all to the author?

Review: Jot down anything new you have learnt by reading this article.
