Mojtaba Ammari Allahyari
About me
I have been doing my PhD program on Students' understanding of recursion in a Logo-based computer domain of abstraction. I started my research in mathematics education with a pure mathematics background. I achieved my MSc in Uniquely colourable graphs in Sharif University of Technology (Tehran/Iran).
My Works experiments
- Teaching in Sharif University of technology (Tehran/Iran) and some other universities in Tehran 1992-2001,
- Member of academic staff in Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran 1994-2002
During my MSc and after finishing it, I taught some mathematical courses for example: Calculus, Differential Equations, at Sharif University of Technology.
My Interests
- Application of technology in mathematics education
- Fractals and their possible applications in mathematics education
I am designing a software(microworld) in my PhD program under supervision of Dr Dave Pratt since September 2002 at Warwick University and I expect to finish it in September 2006.
