Developing Higher Education Outreach Module with Academics from India - report now available

For the second phase of the WAHEI project, our research team members based in Indian regional states (SRT's) were invited for a weeklong residential visit to the University of Warwick to collaborate and develop the HE outreach module, which is a key output for the project.

The objectives for this visit were to:

  1. Co-design and produce a draft of a module on HE outreach, based upon WAHEI State Research Team findings, to be used for the Professional Learning Module (PLM) for faculty members in India – to then be finalised for piloting in September 2025.
  2. Familiarize SRT members with existing approaches to widening access and participation in the UK using Fircroft College of Adult Education and Warwick University as two differently positioned institutions as examples to think about HE outreach in India.
  3. Support SRT members to become champions for widening access processes and activities within their institutions and beyond.

The report from this visit is now complete and published at WAHEI HE outreach module development week report June 2025Link opens in a new window
