Content and Language Integrated Learning

CLIL - Content and Language Integrated Learning - has become an important part of our research and teaching activities and has led to presentations at international conferences and to involvement in an EU funded project.

Funding from the TDA led to the creation of an Integrated Language Learning (ILL) Network to include collaboration between the University of Warwick, Coventry local authority, Tile Hill Wood School and Language College and primary schools with the aim of developing integrated language learning methodology in both primary and secondary schools with a view to smooth transition between the sectors. Research in this area continues.
