Profile of the Housing and Socio-Economic Circumstances of BME People in Wales 1991-2001
This project used data from the 1991 and 2001 Census of Population to identify the social and economic characteristics of people from Black and Minority Ethnic groups in Wales. The report (versions in both Welsh and English) and summaries can be accessed here.
The report discusses contrasts in demography, geographical distribution, household composition, housing circumstances and socio-economic conditions between ethnic groups. The extensive appendices contain a large amount of data fro local authorities and electoral divisions, and detailed maps of the distribution of minority ethnic groups.
