Co-ordination of Training Delivery

  • Oversee mentoring across Alliance Schools (Including training)
  • Ensure effective administration of placements & record keeping
  • Ensure the university is notified of Base School & Complementary Placement details
  • Liaise with Professional Mentors within your teaching school
    alliance to arrange placements and to make transition arrangements between placements where appropriate
  • Arrange delivery of School Direct Alliance Day programme in
    conjunction with University guidelines
  • Attend meetings with the university (WaSP for example)

Recruitment /HR Matters

  • Managing Contract matters/distributing
    contract to relevant Lead School Staff
  • Managing written agreements between Lead school and Alliance Schools
  • Requesting recruitment places via the university when prompted
  • Alliance School QA
  • Assessing the suitability of all SD Candidates who apply to the school via interview and document verification
  • DBS and Safeguarding Checks for SDS Trainees
  • Distributing Vetting Checks for all SDT & SDS Trainees to base school and complementary schools
  • Occupational Health matters

Finance (Invoicing)

  • Ensuring the university has up to date bank details for funding purposes
  • Paying invoices when they are received from the university (SDS)
  • Raising & sending invoices as per purchase orders received from the university
  • Keeping financial records for audit purposes
  • Distributing funding between alliance schools as per own written agreements
