Special Lecture Series for Undergraduate Economics Students - Economics 360
Wednesday 22 Jan 2014The Department has arranged a Special Lecture Series for Terms 2 and 3 for all Economics Undergraduates. This lecture series is designed to broaden your education and to help you interpret what you have learnt in lectures and classes to some real world, interesting and important situations and subjects. We strongly encourage you to attend these talks.
A drinks and nibbles reception will follow each talk in the foyer area of M1.
The dates, times and speakers are below. All talks will take place in M1 in the WBS Teaching Centre.
The first talk is on Tuesday 28th January 2014 at 6pm by Caroline Mason OBE. Caroline is the recently appointed Chief Executive of the Esmee Fairbarn Foundation, one of the largest independent grant makers in the UK. Caroline will talk on philanthropy and the growing role of social investment within it..
