Economics ranked in the world's top 25 by the QS World University Rankings

The QS World University Rankings by Subject published on 8 March 2017, has declared Economics at the University of Warwick to be 25th in the world’s top 50.

Head of Department Professor Jeremy Smith said: “To have the Economics Department ranked as one of the top 25 Departments is great news for the profile of both the Department and the University as a whole. As a Department we continue to make every effort to grow and develop across all areas of activity and as a group we are very pleased that these efforts are recognised. “

For this sixth edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject, 4,438 universities were evaluated and 1107 institutions ranked in total. Over 127 million citations attributions were analysed and they verified the provision of over 18,900 programmes.

The Economics Department runs the following courses at undergraduate level: BSc Economics, BSc/BA Economics, Politics and International Studies, BSc Economics and Industrial Organisation and joint degrees in Languages and Economics.

At postgraduate level we offer MSc Economics, MSc Economics and International Financial Economics, MSc Behavioural and Economic Science and MSc Finance and Economics. We also offer our MRes/PhD programme.
