Message from Professor Jeremy Smith, Head of Department

We are deeply concerned about the recent media coverage related to the cases of suspended students and the reaction it has created, particularly in social media.

We would like to assure all of our students, staff, alumni and any prospective students that we are fully committed to providing a safe and inclusive study environment and dealing swiftly and appropriately with unacceptable behaviour in any form, as stated in the University’s Dignity at Warwick Policy.
