Message of Condolence on the passing of Professor Nick Crafts

The Department is deeply saddened by the passing of Professor Nick Crafts, who died on 7 October 2023 after a long illness. Nick was a brilliant economist and one of the world’s leading economic historians, who will leave an enduring legacy. He was also the founding Director of the CAGE Research Centre.
