Right Reverend James Jones, the former Bishop of Liverpool, gave the fourth talk of the Economics 360 lecture series on Tuesday 11th March 2014. James chaired the Hillsborough Independent Panel and cleared the names of football fans and has also carried out research into the moral dimensions of the financial crisis. He looked at a traditional theory that economics relies upon self-interest and the factors that are challenging this. In this context, he also considered the role of morality in economic systems.
