Professor James Fenske elected as Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences

Congratulations to CAGE Theme Lead, James Fenske who has been elected as a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences.

The Academy of Social Sciences is the sector’s leading independent voice in the UK, championing the vital role social sciences play in education, government and business.

Professor Fenske specialises in economic history and development economics. He will join leading social scientists across the sectors whose practice and research helps to address some of the major challenges facing communities, society, places and economies.

Academy Fellows are elected based on excellence in their fields and their substantial contributions to social science for public benefit.
