Gill is a public policy expert and former Head of Policy & Research at Acas, where she worked for over 20 years. Gill is the non-academic co-lead of the PPIE/ evidence translation work package.

Meanu is a Research Fellow at Warwick Medical School specialising in qualitative research with children and families, focusing on educational disadvantage and SEND, with experience in co-production and secondary education

Sarah is an Associate Professor in the Centre for Evidence and Implementation Science at University of Birmingham. She is a methodologist, specialising in evidence synthesis and health service evaluation.

Kevin Daniels is Professor of Organizational Behaviour at the University of East Anglia. Kevin has a particular interest in developing policy, standards and practices to promote workplace health, wellbeing and safety.

Dr Eli Dutton

Work Package 2 and 3

Eli is a Research Fellow in the Institute for Employment Research at the University of Warwick. Her research interests include fair work and job quality, workplace innovation and managing long-term ill health at work. She has extensive experience of conducting research in the hospitality industry.

Work Package 3 lead

Prof Grove is Director of the Centre for Evidence and Implementation Science at University of Birmingham. She is a leading methodologist, who evaluates innovation to directly impact health service design and delivery. Prof Grove will support The Creating Healthy Jobs Evidence Hub (WP3) and Work Package 6.

Sagar Jilka

Dr Sagar Jilka

Work Package 6

Dr Sagar Jilka is a Senior Research Fellow in the Mental Health & Wellbeing Unit in the Division of Health Sciences.

Sagar was previously the patient and public involvement coordinator at the Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (King’s College London), and prior to that worked as a football data scientist at a tech start up in London.

Melanie Jones if a Professor of Economics at Cardiff University. Her research focuses on labour market inequality, particularly the relationship between work and health.

Work Package 5

Kamran is a Research Fellow in Health Economics at Warwick Clinical Trials Unit, Warwick Medical School.
His research focuses on trial-based economic evaluation, health-related quality of life measurement, and cost-effectiveness analysis, with applications in mental health, emergency care, and global health.

Dr Sangwoo Lee

Work package 2,3,4

His research addresses social inequalities in work and education through data collection, management, and statistical analysis. He has extensive experience of working with large national and international datasets and applying advanced statistical techniques to education and labour market research. Recent projects.

Jason Madan

Professor Jason Madan

Work Package 4 and Work Package 5 lead

Professor Jason Madan is a Professor in Health Economics at Warwick Medical School, and Director of Graduate Research Studies for the School. Jason has an extensive track record in leading health economic evaluations in mental health and in LMIC settings, and is the health economics lead for the NIHR Global Unit for Slum Health and the NIHR Global Group Health Group on Improving on Psychosis Outcomes (NIHR WIC).

Dr Sima Rafiei

Work package 4

Sima Rafiei is a research fellow in WMS. Her research focuses on the social determinants of health, job quality, mental wellbeing, and the use of longitudinal and linked data to inform policy and practice. She has held research roles at Manchester Metropolitan University, Lancaster University, and the University of Liverpool, and previously served as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Health and Care Management at Iran University of Medical Sciences.

Work package 2 and 3

Katharina Sarter is Assistant Professor at the Institute for Employment Research at the University of Warwick. Katharina’s main interests are in the field of public and social policy, sustainability, and digitalisation, with a view to employment and its regulation, public procurement as a policy tool, and comparative research.

Work Package 6 Co-lead

Sophie Staniszewska leads the Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) and Patient Experiences Programme at the RCN Research Institute, Warwick Medical School, University of Warwick. Sophie is the academic co-Lead of the PPIE/Evidence translation work package.
