Open days
University Open Days
The University runs several Open Days throughout the year. These are general Open Days for students considering to study any subject at Warwick.
The Law School itself runs a number of sessions over these days, during which several staff members make short presentations. Topics covered include studying law at university; how Warwick is different from other law schools; and our admissions procedure (including the kinds of things that we might look for on your UCAS form), as well as our European and Year Abroad in English programmes and joint degrees. The sessions also include an opportunity for questions on anything we might not have covered.
Current undergraduate students from the Law Society Executive Committe participate in these question and answer sessions to answer quesions from a student perspective.
Visits to these general Open Days are therefore ideal at any stage in your decision-making process, whether or not you have decided to study Law.
The Open Days normally take place on Fridays and Saturdays in September, October and June. You can find out more details and book a place at the central university site.
Warwick Visits
If you are unable to attend one of our Open Days, the University also arranges Warwick Visits. Although you will not be able to visit the Law School, you can hear from the central Recruitment Team, tour the campus and meet support services.
You can find more information at the central university site.
Law School Post-Offer Open Day
The Law School runs Open Days for students who have been made an offer. Once offers have been made, students will receive an invitation from the Law School to visit during term time.
A variety of staff members introduce the Law School, the undergraduate programmes, and aspects of their research and teaching. You will also have the opportunity to discuss with current students what it's like being a law undergraduate at Warwick and have tours of the campus conducted by some of our undergraduate students.
Members of staff responsible for the exchange programmes and joint Law & Business degrees are involved in these open days to answer questions about these programmes. Candidates for Law & Sociology will be invited to Sociology department open days. As part of that day a representative from the law school will be there to answer any questions about studying Law at Warwick. Please note that advanced booking is essential.
