Warwick Law in the Community (LinC) strives to make a meaningful contribution to our community locally, nationally and internationally through innovative clinical education and research.

We work collaboratively with various organisations to create opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students to gain practical experience in law and actively contribute to advancing social justice. We offer opportunities in more traditional forms of legal advice and practice, but we also look beyond these to expose students to alternative ways of doing and thinking about law, including writing, research, community organising and public legal education.

We aim to develop and produce engaged and impactful research on social justice, explore how research can support community-led efforts through critical and participatory methods, and foster collaboration between academics, legal practitioners and activists.

We seek to develop mutually beneficial long-term relationships and collaborative projects with organisations that share our values.
