Introduction to OSCOLA ReferencingOnline (MS Teams)The Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA) is the referencing style used by law schools across the UK. This workshop will show you how to cite primary and secondary sources of legal information in footnote references, how to use short forms and ibids for subsequent citations, and how to construct Tables of Authorities and a Bibliography in the OSCOLA legal referencing style. The session is intended for UG, PGT and PGR law students only. Note, LLM students undertaking LA984 should not attend, as they will receive a separate OSCOLA referencing session on 7 February as part of their module. This is a practical workshop and places are limited to 30 people. Please sign-up to attend the workshop. No pre-session preparation is required. Click here to join the MS Teams event. |
