Rosa Luxemburg and International Law - Online workshop followed by public lecture by Dana MillsThis event aims to celebrate and engage with Rosa Luxemburg’s scholarship and activism. The online workshop will bring together scholars from different parts of the world to collectively explore Rosa’s work in the field of international law: we believe that her thinking and commitment to address issues of ableism, racism, classism and misogyny in the global economic order can add significantly to the analysis of current international legal debates around inequality, climate disaster and the pandemic. The workshop will be followed by Dr Dana Mills’ lecture ‘Socialism or barbarism, 150 years on’ at 4.30pm, also online. Please feel free to join the full event or part of it! Workshop co-sponsored by the Society of Legal Scholars, WLS and CCLS. |
