The Festival of Careers is a programme of online events created to connect students in all years of study with employers and help them to develop their skills and think about their future. The Festival is a packed schedule of webinars, workshops and interactive sessions.

An interactive workshop designed to support everyone who is interested in applying to the Bar Advocacy Competition, the biggest advocacy competition at Warwick! The workshop will include demos on how to perform bail applications, pleas in mitigation hearings and witness examinations!

Time is HK Time. During this session we will provide guidance on how to approach our 2020 virtual assessment & selection process. We will also share some hints and tips for CVs and written applications. Deadline for Registration: 14 October

Thomas Grant QC: This lecture will examine – and celebrate – the work of lawyers who have crossed the usual lines and worked for political change. It will look at the life of South African advocate Bram Fischer, who defended Nelson Mandela at the Rivonia trial, and was himself prosecuted for sabotage and sentenced to life in prison.
