Diversity Solutions: Access to Law

A virtual careers event created exclusively for students with long-term health conditions or disabilities that helps connect students interested in starting a career in law with major law firms. It is open to those studying in any field, but have a passion for law, or are interested in a potential legal career. This year’s attending firms are Bird & Bird and RPC. It’s a great opportunity for students to ask firms any questions they have and to explore a career in law with a firm committed to inclusion.

Francis Taylor Building (FTB) Pupillage Open Evening

Are you interested in public and administrative law, environmental law, or the legal process governing what gets built where and how? Then you may be interested in a career at the public and environmental Bar. This will be a hybrid event with the opportunity for participants to attend in Chambers or remotely. It will take the form of a panel discussion with members of Chambers with different specialisms within Chambers’ practice areas and at different stages of their career as panellists. For those attending in person, there will be an opportunity to chat to members in a more informal setting after the panel discussion. Those attending remotely will be offered the opportunity to book a slot for a one-on-one discussion with a barrister on Zoom after the panel discussion. Serle Court Prospective Pupillage Evening
Online

Information about how to tackle the pupillage application process, life as a pupil at Serle Court and insights into careers at the Commercial Chancery Bar, with a chance to ask questions. This event is for those who were not able to attend in person at the event from 18.30 on Wednesday 23rd November 2022.

Students who would like to attend should email their request FAO April Fisher pupillage@serlecourt.co.uk stating whether they are applying for the in-person or the online event. Students will receive an email confirming their place.
