Bookings are now open for the Law School’s BOOST INTO LAW CAREERS fortnight taking place from 12 - 25 June 2025. There are lots of different events taking place over the course of the two weeks. Work in the UK after studies & Alumnus Case Study SuccessThis event is on teams and although parts will be geared towards Masters level students and Law students, it is open to any international student wanting to stay in the UK to search for work after their degree. It will be delivered by the University's Careers Service and Immigration Adviser. |

Introduction to Mediation Online WorkshopWarwick Law School are delighted to offer this online Introduction to Mediation workshop delivered by the multi-award-winning Mediator and Trainer, Emma McAndry (Fellow of the Civil Mediation Council and founder of Essential Mediation Solutions). The session will involve an outline of Mediation in the UK and the core skills needed to support parties in conflict to resolve their differences. This session usually costs £70+VAT per participant but is offered free on this occasion. The Introduction to Mediation workshop will take place online and attendance at the event will give you external certification by Essential Mediation Solutions. Please register your interest. Please note that this session is not recorded. No preparation or prior knowledge is needed. Non-Warwick guests are very welcome.

Mediation Representative CourseOnlineBy invitation: WLS students only Interested in finding out more about mediation and developing the skills to assist a client going through a mediation process? Students are invited to apply for a funded place on a certificated Mediation Representative course running online. The usual cost is around £270 per person. This opportunity is open to all WLS undergraduate students (PG students should also express interest although their course will run at another time). Note that prior knowledge of mediation is a requirement to ensure you understand the content of the Med Rep course. The session will involve an outline of Principled Negotiation theory and skills and opportunities to practise the core skills needed to support parties in conflict to resolve their differences.
The session will involve an outline of how to support a client in a mediation and opportunities to practise the core skills needed to support parties in conflict to resolve their differences. Attendees who attend the Introduction session (23 June) and the Principled Negotiation and the Acting as a Mediation Representative workshops will receive EMS certification as Mediation Representatives.
