The Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) regime is now in its fourth year. Despite multiple cohorts having sat and completed both SQE1 and SQE2 exams, the assessments remain a daunting prospect for aspiring solicitors.

Jus Mundi is a new international arbitration law database. They are offering online training sessions to support students and academics in enhancing their legal research skills. These sessions will provide hands-on guidance on effectively using Jus Mundi’s database for academic work. University of Warwick students and staff are very welcome to attend. Register to attend!

The centrepiece, on the afternoon of Tuesday 1 April, is a Virtual Law Fair featuring nearly 30 law firms. The days either side, Monday 31 March and Wednesday 2 April, feature a series of short talks, workshops and Q&As with lawyers from leading law firms including BCLP, Hogan Lovells, Pinsent Masons, Shoosmiths, Slaughter and May, and Willkie, alongside case study exercises. There is also an Employability Expo on the Monday led by ULaw. You need to sign up to the Scheme as a whole in order to be eligible to attend the Law Fair.

The Scheme is open to all students. Its aim is to help boost employability and enable students to gain insights into life as a lawyer across a range of practice areas.
