SQE1 taster workshop — with BPPOnlineThe Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) regime is now in its fourth year. Despite multiple cohorts having sat and completed both SQE1 and SQE2 exams, the assessments remain a daunting prospect for aspiring solicitors. Join us on the afternoon of Monday 17 March for a live, virtual taster workshop run in partnership with BPP University Law School, to help students get to grips with the regime’s first stage, SQE1. They are offering online training sessions to support students and academics in enhancing their legal research skills. Legal Cheek Spring Virtual Vacation Scheme and Law Fair 2025Runs from Monday, March 31 to Wednesday, April 02. The centrepiece, on the afternoon of Tuesday 1 April, is a Virtual Law Fair featuring nearly 30 law firms. The days either side, Monday 31 March and Wednesday 2 April, feature a series of short talks, workshops and Q&As with lawyers from leading law firms including BCLP, Hogan Lovells, Pinsent Masons, Shoosmiths, Slaughter and May, and Willkie, alongside case study exercises. There is also an Employability Expo on the Monday led by ULaw. You need to sign up to the Scheme as a whole in order to be eligible to attend the Law Fair. The Scheme is open to all students. Its aim is to help boost employability and enable students to gain insights into life as a lawyer across a range of practice areas. |
