The move away from reliance upon adversarial litigation is gathering pace with the growing importance of alternative forms of dispute resolution, such as arbitration and mediation.

Warwick Law School is delighted to welcome Dr Aman Hingorani, Arbitrator, Senior Advocate and Mediator, Supreme Court of India, and WLS alumnus to share insights drawn from their own experiences in India and elsewhere about the changing nature of access to justice, and the mindset change that the legal professional will need to make in order to handle adversarial and non-adversarial mechanisms for resolution of conflict.

Aman is an alumnus of the Law School and senior advocate in Delhi. He also teaches at Delhi University Law School. He also leads theThe Kapila & Nirmal Hingorani Foundationwhich aims to work for the realization of human rights and freedoms, equality and dignity of the individual, particularly of women, children, the aged, the poor and other weaker sections of society.
