Wajma Zazai, who is currently studying on our Law 3 year LLB degree and will graduate this summer has been awarded the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Scholarship from The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple to support her Bar Vocational Studies.

The scholarship is awarded to candidates who are specially deserving of financial assistance, whether because of serious disadvantage or for any other obstacle that they may face or have faced in qualifying as a barrister. In selecting the successful candidates, emphasis is placed on their character and ability to overcome adversity.

Wajma commented: “I am still feeling very overwhelmed, yet immensely grateful to have received this scholarship. It is a reflection of my continuous determination and strength despite many adversities. I look forward to starting the Bar Vocational Studies at City, University of London in September.”
