Congratulations to Sophie Wong, who took part in the experimental mooting event at the VU Amsterdam in late November 2022. The international moot was attended by teams from China, Indonesia, Rwanda, the Netherlands, Zimbabwe, and the UK (represented by Sophie).

The moot was co-conceptualised by Professor Wouter Werner, who hosted the moot, and Warwick’s Dr Christine Schwöbel-Patel. The event was designed to contrast the regular competitive moots and to instead encourage participants to collaborate and to consider political, social, cultural, and economic factors as relevant to the courtroom experience.
