Stowe Family Law LLP are offering the Law School’s undergraduate students an exciting opportunity to undertake a work experience placement at their Leamington Spa office, in the form of a Law Prize awarded to our highest performing student.

WLS currently offers three Family Law related modules to our students, and the winner of this prize will be the highest performing student across those three modules. Dr Rachael Blakey who teaches on our ‘Modern Challenges for English Family Law’ module commented:

The Stowe Family Law Prize is designed to recognise and reward the exceptional talent of the highest-performing student in Family Law at Warwick Law School. This accolade not only honours their academic achievements and commitment to the subject but also provides a unique opportunity for the student to gain a practical understanding of family law through hands-on experience.

The recipient of the prize will be invited to spend two days in our Leamington Spa office, where they’ll work alongside a seasoned family law solicitor. From observing client meetings and understanding the intricacies of family court preparations, to gaining insight into complex case management and learning about best practices in sensitive family law cases, the student will see first-hand the multifaceted role of a family law solicitor. Our aim is to provide them with a well-rounded experience that highlights both the challenges and rewards of family law practice.
