Title: Palestinian refugees from Syria. A legal Geography
Abstract: 'Prior to the outbreak of the conflict in Syria in 2011, the country was host to about half a million Palestinian refugees. Due to the protracted situation of their displacement, Palestinian refugees have been living in a state of refuge and exception for over seventy years, defined by normative and institutional separation. Amid the conflict in Syria, Palestinian-Syrians fled alongside Syrian nationals but were met with exclusion and closed borders by the surrounding countries. The following paper looks at the mutually constitutive relationship between law and space and its role in the construction of the Palestinian refugee from Syria'
