Lara's research focuses on international family law. She has written on child abduction, intercountry adoption and maintenance. Lara is currently looking at party autonomy, the enforcement of private agreements and the impact of Brexit on international family law. She continues to work on family maintenance and child support. Lara is a member of the EAPIL working group on the Hague Maintenance Convention.
