Lacuna: Content marketers
- Can you use Google Analytics to monitor website traffic?
- Can you grow an audience using social media insights?
- Do you have excellent time-management and organisational skills?
We are looking for candidates who are keen to develop their content marketing skills, to promote stories about human rights issues and to help us reach new audiences – online and offline. An interest in human rights is desirable and you’ll work with Lacuna’s editor to analyse how our stories and social posts have performed and to help us reach the widest possible audience.
Experience in collating and understanding website and/or social media analytics will stand you in good stead. Knowledge of social media platforms is essential, as is an understanding of the importance of tone of voice. We currently use Instagram, Threads, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest. We don’t expect you to know your way around GA4 Analytics and the insights of every social media platform already – but we’ll need you to learn.
The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, reliable, and able to demonstrate excellent time management. You will be expected to work a weekly 4-hour shift at a time to be agreed, which may include researching SEO, creating Google Analytics reports or generating social media plans. This position is paid at approx. £13 per hour.
To apply, please write a short promotional plan, explaining how you will grow our audience over the next 12 months. Email this with your CV, links to any relevant work and a covering letter (max 250 words), all as PDFs, to hello@lacuna.org.uk with the subject “Content marketing application” by 12 noon on Sunday 20th October 2024.
(These positions are open to current undergraduate and postgraduate students of the University of Warwick only. You may apply for more than one role with Lacuna)
