*NEW* Apply to join the 2025/26 School Tasking Team
2025/26 marks the third year of the national rollout of the hugely successful outreach project, School Tasking, that was created at Warwick in 2021. We are looking for students to join our 2025/26 project team.
You will work in teams to deliver School Tasking workshops in local Widening Participation primary schools. More information about the project can be found hereLink opens in a new window.
This role will begin on 15 October 2025 with a training session and end by 20 June 2026 (only some team members will stay on to help with the Champion of Champions Final in June, but the opportunity will be there).
Eligibility
- You must be either a current LLB or LLM student at Warwick Law School;
- or, a PGT or PGR student at Warwick Law School
What will being a School Tasking Team member involve?
- Working as a team to plan and prepare how you are going to deliver the in-school sessions.
- Run School Tasking sessions in groups of 3 between January and March 2026.
- Possibly assist at the School Tasking Champion of Champions Final on campus at the University of Warwick in June 2026.
The skills and experience needed for this role:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and proven problem-solving capability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Further information
- Some aspects of this role are paid and a DBS will be required. The Law School will cover the costs of the DBS application.
- Time commitment: School Tasking Team members should expect to contribute around 1-2 hours per week in Term 1 and 3-4 hours per week during Term 2. Due to the nature of the project, some weeks will be busier than others (namely, the weeks you are running the in-school sessions).
- Travel expenses to and from participating schools will be covered.
