A message from Dr Rebecca Munro - Director of Student Experience

Hello and Welcome to Warwick Law School!

I'm Dr Rebecca Munro, the Director of Student Experience at Warwick Law School. Alongside my Co-Director Dr Carolina Alonso Bejanaro, and our dedicated Student Experience and Engagement Officers, Lauren Horobin and Ana Kedves, we are here to support you every step of the way throughout your postgraduate journey at Warwick.

Our role is to ensure that your experience at Warwick Law School is enriching and rewarding, both academically and personally. We’ll be here to listen to your concerns, represent your voice in decision-making processes, and work to enhance every aspect of your time at university.

We believe that student feedback is essential, and we encourage you to share your thoughts so we can shape the services, events, and activities that will help you thrive. We collaborate with the Warwick Students’ Union, student societies, and the Student Staff Liaison Committee to ensure you’re well-represented and heard.

With the support of your personal tutors, year tutors, and the Student Wellbeing team, we will help you navigate any challenges and support your academic progress. Your time here will be filled with growth, and we are excited to support you every step of the way.

We look forward to meeting you and helping you make the most of your time at Warwick Law School.

Student Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC)

Our SSLCs offer essential channels of communication between students and staff and often lead to changes being implemented to improve your student experience. Plus working as a student representative can be a great way of demonstrating your communication and negotiation skills. SSLC elections will be advertised throughout the first week of term and elections will take place in week two. Students elected as representatives attend the SSLC meetings to present and represent student views. Get involved.
