Dr. John Guelke was a research fellow providing ethics research on an FP7 project called SIIP (Speaker Identification Integrated Project). He previously worked on the FP7 SURVEILLELink opens in a new window (Surveillance, Ethics, Legal Limitations and Efficiency) project, assisting Professor Tom SorellLink opens in a new window in the establishment and running of the SURVEILLE Advisory Service, and carrying out surveys of surveillance technology in conjunction with Merseyside Police, and on the FP7 DETECTERLink opens in a new window project where he worked on detection technologies and the ethical norms of counter terrorism.
