The Master of Journalism's particular focus on public interest and investigative journalism will equip you to contribute to the main value add of journalism in society - informing the public to allow citizens to be self governing. You will work with award-winning journalists and academics with outstanding industry links, achieve expert skills in research and reporting in print, digital, radio and video, and explore the media's evolving role in society. It also enables those with an interest in international relations to combine that with communication skills. For instance, if you would like to work in communications in NGOs or United Nations agencies or the United Nations itself, this course is a good choice.

The journalism studies draw on best practices within the broad realm of journalism practice.Through a combination of academic and practice-based work, you will gain asolid foundation in all production technologies – print, video, radio andonline – in metropolitan, regional and international contexts.

Whether you start your Double Degree at Warwick or at Monash, your studies will culminate in a final project which you can complete at either institution, with a supervisor from each in a truly interdisciplinary partnership.
