Dr Kai Spiekermann wins Sir Ernest Barker Prize for Political Theory

The Department would like to congratulate Dr Kai Spiekermann, who has won the Political Studies Association's Sir Ernest Barker Prize for Political theory, 2008 for his thesis "Norms and Games: Realistic Moral theory and the Dynamic Analysis of Cooperation".

Aesthetics of Photography Lecture by Patrick Maynard - 3rd Feb 2009

Patrick Maynard (Emeritus Professor, University of Western Ontario) will visit the University of Warwick to present a lecture for the undergraduate Module 'Aesthetics and Photography' (PH249). He will discuss his theory of photography, published in The Engine of Visualisation: Thinking Through Photography. http://publish.uwo.ca/~pmaynard/
