Research Fellowships
Warwick Philosophy Department routinely invites applications from suitably qualified researchers who wish to apply for fellowships that will be hosted by the Department. In the past the Department has successfully supported numerous fellows, including those funded by the British Academy, Leverhulme, Marie Curie and UKRI. In the last academic year the department supported applications to a number of schemes, including:
British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowships
Leverhulme Early Career Fellowships
The Department reviews fellowship funding schemes annually and agrees which to support in any given academic year. Criteria used to make this decision include available schemes, size and shape of the current department and budget constraints. The Department has already confirmed it will be supporting the following fellowship schemes in 2026 – 2027:
British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowships
Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships
Fellowship schemes will be announced at least two months before submission date, and will be open to all researchers who fit the criteria of the scheme.
The aim is to ensure full transparency and equality of opportunity around the fellowships the Department supports. The Department is unable to support fellowships outside this list in any given year.
