Research in PPE Workshop

- Export as iCalendar
Location: S2.77

Dear all,

You are all warmly invited to attend our annual showcase of undergraduate research in PPE. We will have presentations from two of our final year students about the research they have been doing as part of their degree, and then we will have a Q and A with me about research opportunities in PPE (you might be starting, for example, to think about a research module in your final year, or applying for university and PPE research opportunities in the future.

This will be a good opportunity for you to learn about what you can do in your degree, as well as seeing how academic talks are given. You will also have the opportunity to practice asking questions in research talks, a very valuable skill to develop, especially if you are interested in pursuing further study later.

There is no need to book, just turn up. Light refreshments will be provided. This takes place in S2.77, which is on the second floor of the social sciences building, basically where the economics and philosophy corridors meet. Come to some or all of the below as you prefer.

11.00am Lily Pitcher - ‘The Greatest Country in the World’: Examining Violent Extremism in 21st Century USA.
