Dr Gurminder Bhambra: Publication of 'African Athena'

New Report by Dr Eric Jensen Published on Student Volunteers and Festival-based Public Engagement

Research commissioned by the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE) was conducted by Dr Eric Jensen at the University of Warwick working with Nicola Buckley of the University of Cambridge and explores the role of university students in festival-based public engagement.

The report was launched 12 July 2011 at a well-attended event at the University of Cambridge.

Sociology Department - Ranked 2nd in the 2011 Times Good University Guide

Sociology continues to come in the top three in all league tables on the quality of teaching and learning that students experience at Warwick.

As well as being 2nd in the Independent and 3rd in the Guardian, we have just learnt that we are placed 2nd in the 2011 Times Good University Guide.
