Using WebPrint to print from your personal device

WebPrint allows you to print from any personal device with an Internet connection. As well as being suitable for personal laptops it also allows for printing from iPads or smartphones. Note that WebPrint only allows for the printing of Microsoft Office files, PDF documents or image files. To print off other formats you will need to use Driver Print.

  • Open a browser and visit https://printing.wbs.ac.ukLink opens in a new window
  • Log in with your WBS username (something like B1234567 or MF12XX)

  • On the WebPrint tab click 'Choose File' and select the file you wish to print. Click Next to continue.

  • Wait a few moments until your document has finished processing

  • When the document shows as 'Awaiting release' select the correct printer (as shown below) and click Print:

    • Masters students must select 'Kyocera Pull Queue'. You can then print your document by swiping on any WBS touchpad-enabled printer:
      • PG IT Suite - 0.101
      • PG Grid - 1.002
      • Ground floor of the WBS Teaching Centre
    • MBA students should select one of the MBA printers
      • Ground floor of A-block
    • PhD researchers must select 'Kyocera Pull Queue'. You can then print your document by swiping on any WBS touchpad-enabled printer:
      • PG IT Suite
      • PG Grid
      • 2.008
      • WBS Teaching Centre (ground and first floor)

    Select the correct printer

    By default one complete copy of the document will be printed, single-sided, one per side. If you wish to change any of these settings tick the Advanced box shown above and select your options.
  • When your document is shown as having been sent successfully go to the correct printer. If you selected the Pull Queue then you can print your document by swiping your card on any WBS printer with an attached touchpad (PG IT Suite x 4 devices and WTC x 2 devices)

  • If you change your mind you can delete any job from your queue by clicking the delete option next to your document

    Click delete to remove any document from your print queue
